Classical Opera’s 2016 education project explored the journey taken by the 11-year old Mozart, as he travelled from London back to his home town of Salzburg in 1766.
The project was taken into two schools in the London Borough of Ealing. The students researched what life was like in Europe in the mid-1700s, and worked with singers and orchestral players from Classical Opera to explore the music that Mozart wrote during his journey. They then created their own mini operas inspired by this music and their research.
