‘Pay it Forward’ Appeal

The past few months have had a devastating financial impact on our community of highly-skilled freelance artists. Like many arts organisations, we have been hit hard by cancellations and have suffered a fall in other giving income due to the adverse financial impact of the pandemic. The government’s recent announcement of a £1.57 billion support package for the UK’s arts, culture and heritage sector is extremely welcome, but under the current guidelines it is unlikely that any of this money will reach our artists.

In order to support our players and singers and enable us to plan future performances, we are therefore launching our new ‘Pay it Forward’ Appeal. All of the money donated through this appeal will go directly to our artists now, as an advance fee for future projects with us. This means that once we are able to work together again our future costs will be reduced, and will ensure that in the meantime our artists will receive much needed income to help them through these difficult times.

Our target for this appeal is £50K, and we hope to be able to support at least 30 artists through this scheme.

We would be hugely grateful if you could consider supporting our artists through a donation to our ‘Pay it Forward’ Appeal.

Donations to our Pay it Forward Appeal are eligible for Gift Aid. If you would like to add Gift Aid to your donation, please contact Lizzie How.
