Welsh soprano Natalya Romaniw is a former Associate Artist of The Mozartists, and has appeared with the company at Cadogan Hall and in recital in Baden-Baden. In 2012 Natalya joined the Young Artist Program at Houston Grand Opera, where she has sung Mimi (La Bohème), Ines (Il trovatore), Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus), Micaela (Carmen) and Krystina (Weinberg’s The Passenger). Other operatic engagements have included La rondine and Giulia (La scala di seta) for British Youth Opera, cover for Anne Truelove in The Rake’s Progress at the Millennium Centre, the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor for Clonter Opera, Governess (Turn of the Screw) for Glyndebourne on Tour, Maliella (I Gioielli della Madonna) and Fiora (L’amore dei tre Re) for Opera Holland Park. On concert platform Natalya has appeared in Mozart’s Requiem with Swansea Philharmonic Choir, Haydn’s Nelson Mass and Duruflé’s Requiem at Sherbourne, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with Garsington Opera.
