A former Associate Artist, Mary Bevan has performed with The Mozartists at Cadogan Hall, Wigmore Hall and Kings Place. Mary is one of Britain’s top emerging artists, receiving acclaim from critics and audiences alike for her stand out performances. In 2014, she was awarded the UK Critics’ Circle Award for Exceptional Young Talent in music. Opera roles have included Susanna (The Marriage of Figaro), Despina (Così fan tutte) and Papagena (The Magic Flute) for English National Opera, Music and Euridice in Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo with Royal Opera House at the Roundhouse, Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro) at the Royal Opera House and Musetta (La bohème) at the St Endellion Festival. A dedicated recitalist, she has appeared at the Oxford Lieder Festival and the Wigmore Hall. Mary’s numerous recordings include Handel’s The Triumph of Time and Truth and Ode for St Cecilia’s Day with Ludus Baroque, Vaughan Williams’ Symphony No.3 and Schubert Rosamunde with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, and a selection of Handel songs with L’Avventura London for Opella Nova Records.
