Natalya Romaniw

Natalya Romaniw became a Classical Opera Associate Artist in January 2012.

She was awarded first prize at the 2007 London Welsh Young Singer of the Year competition and studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she won the prestigious Gold Medal in 2011.

Natalya represented Wales in the 2009 Cardiff Singer of the World competition.

Her previous roles include Anne Trulove (The Rake’s Progress) for Welsh National Youth Opera and Tatyana (Eugene Onegin), Blanche (Les dialogues des Carmélites) and the title role in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta for Guildhall Opera.

Her engagements with Classical Opera include Giunia (Lucio Silla) at Cadogan Hall and a recital in Baden-Baden as part of Martin Randall Travel’s 2012 Rhine Valley Music Festival.
