Associate Artists 2012
Classical Opera established its Associate Artist Scheme in 2006 to consolidate its work in assisting the development of exceptional young singers.
A high proportion of our former Associate Artists are now in demand with leading international opera houses.
The current Associate Artists are sopranos Mary Bevan, Sarah-Jane Brandon, Eleanor Dennis, Anna Devin, Katherine Watson and Natalya Romaniw, baritone Jonathan McGovern and countertenor Christopher Ainslie.
Associate Artists receive prestigious performance opportunities with the company’s period-instrument orchestra, as well as opportunities to explore new repertoire in intimate private settings; coaching, guidance and career advice from Ian Page; financial support to help with the cost of ongoing study, scores, CDs and concert dress ; marketing and promotion to the press and within the profession; and mentorship and training to address specific needs.
