The Amadeus Society

In March 1784, Mozart gave a series of three subscription concerts in Vienna, at which he premiered three new piano concertos.  For this series he found 176 subscribers, without whose donations these concerts, and the composition of the new works, could not have taken place.

Taking this historical precedent as its starting point, the Amadeus Society is a gathering of enlightened benefactors whose support enables the Classical Opera Company to establish itself and flourish as a benchmark for Mozart and classical performance; the first 176 subscribers become founder members.

Although membership to the Amadeus Society is primarily a donation towards the work of the company, we host a range of private events throughout the year for Amadeus Society members and their guests, which typically include:

We are currently offering half-price membership to those under the age of 35.
Young Amadeus membership
£800 membership (includes entrance to 4 private events with refreshments – 2 tickets per event)
